About Millennium Copenhagen

Millennium Copenhagen is founded and driven by Ida Steen Riemann Ejlersgaard

"During my career in the equestrian equipment industry, I have always missed a complete product that meets all the requirements of myself. I have sold many different quality breeches for many years, but I quickly saw that something was missing. That's why I designed and created our best-selling product, the Zendaya breeches.

My breeches are sold in large parts of Europe, as the quality and design meet the requirements of riders who love quality, functionality and sustainability. My mission is that my Zendaya breeches should always be at the top of the drawer when you choose the outfit of the day.

The process was long as I was extremely picky about the quality and design and it took more than two years before the decision about my breeches was made until we had the final product in our hands. I am used to working with Italian quality products and therefore the material is imported from Italy. All components of my Zendaya breeches are produced in Europe and the factory that sews my breeches is in Portugal

Earlier in my career, I imported riding equipment from Sweden and here I learned a lot about leather. Therefore, it was an easy decision to start creating my line of browbands, which have quickly become a success. My browbands are cruelty free, which means that they are made out of vegan materials.

About me
"I am a girl from Copenhagen, who grew up with parents with their own business, who have always placed pride in good craftsmanship and quality. We were not rich, but my parents have always taught me that it is better to buy quality that lasts longer , than a cheaper alternative, which breaks down faster.

I started with an interest in having my own business already in my early 20s, where I had a small home shop where I sold homemade browbands. It was the early start to what is today Millennium Copenhagen.
I will probably never make products that are guided by fashion, but I am already expanding the collection with outerwear, baselayers, the most necessary items for the horses and once in a while I will also launch limited products. I am working towards launching these products for Horse&Rytter in Herning in March 2024"
